New Ilchi Lee Book Available for Pre-Order

By Michela Mangiaracina Comment

Ilchi Lee’s new book is now available for pre-order at major online booksellers. The paperback, Kindle ebook, and audiobook of CONNECT: How to Find Clarity and Expand Your Consciousness with Pineal Gland Meditation will come out on its official release, July 15, 2019.

Through detailed and illustrated descriptions of different forms of Pineal Gland Meditation, CONNECT shows you how to activate your “insight, creativity, and the drive and ability to get things done.” This helps you not only to find the answers to questions you have or the solutions to challenges you face, but also to act on what you discover.

The first step is connecting to yourself. When you bring your awareness inside yourself and feel your body, your soul, and your divinity, you access not only your own subconscious mind, but the universal consciousness from which all answers can be found. Then you are also connected to other people and all other things.

The key to doing this is your pineal gland, a small endocrine gland in your brain that secretes melatonin. The pineal gland is called the “third eye,” an eye through which all truth can be seen.

CONNECT shows you how to open your third eye widely and safely. But the truth in this book runs deeper than a how-to meditation guide or a book of inspiration. It delivers the truth of consciousness in the form of ancient wisdom and Ilchi Lee’s more than 40 years of experience practicing and teaching meditation.

Practitioners of the meditation methods in CONNECT have said they:

  • had old memories come to the surface that gave clear reasons and solutions for their current issues.
  • found the hope and encouragement they needed from deep inside themselves.
  • Managed sad, anxious, and depressed feelings.
  • removed pain and tension in their body.
  • burst with passion and joy.

Find your own clarity and discover who you really are with CONNECT. Learn more about the book at its official website, Connectbyilchi.com.

Ilchi Lee book talk - Connect book

Ilchi Lee spoke at a book talk hosted by Body & Brain Yoga and Tai Chi this past Saturday, June 29, 2019 for his upcoming book, Connect: How to Find Clarity and Expand Your Consciousness with Pineal Gland Meditation. Over 300 people gathered at the Mesa Convention Center in Mesa, Arizona and almost one hundred more watched live online as Ilchi Lee shared the importance of connecting to yourself to "take back your brain."

He said information from the world around us, our past history, and our daily habits can distract us from who we really are. They can prevent us from seeing and actualizing our full potential. In addition to our brain being able to regulate our bodily processes, think logically, generate emotions, remember the past, and imagine the future, it has a divine aspect. The divinity in our brain is part of a greater divinity, a universal consciousness, that we can connect to with meditation. This expansion of consciousness breaks us free from the limitations of our small self and brings out the infinite creative ability of our higher self.

With this ability, we can design a life we love. Ilchi Lee called all of us "artists" of our lives.

"Everything I'm telling you today is in this book," Ilchi Lee said. In particular, meditations such as Chunmun (Heaven's Gate) Meditation, which Ilchi Lee demonstrated using five golden rings, can help you connect. It makes you feel the alignment of your body, gives you the opportunity to open your heart, and aids you in activating the divinity in your brain.

One attendee, Jonelle Moore, said afterward that she "really enjoyed the various tools Ilchi Lee used to demonstrate his points." His talk reminded her "of the Oneness of all life, and that the power of choice is mine."

While talking about such a serious topic, Ilchi lee was light and fun. Another attendee, Diane Hunt, said he was "so peaceful, has an easy sense of humor and unassuming . . ." Jonelle agreed, "I greatly appreciated his bright demeanor throughout, and the way he played with attendees."

Attendees also had fun following Body & Brain Yoga instructor and regional manager Sunghan Jang in the yoga and meditation session he led before the talk.

They were also treated to a qigong demonstration.

And three Body & Brain members, Teresa Elsholz, Michelle Parker, and Christine Risner, told their stories of growth and healing.

Outside the lecture hall, attendees had their aura read and took pictures at the photo zone.

Ilchi Lee's recently released book, Connect: How to Find Clarity and Expand Your Consciousness with Pineal Gland Meditation, is now available as a audiobook. It can be streamed or downloaded on major audiobook sites such as Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.

Ilchi Lee Connect Audiobook

Connect reminds people that the most important thing they can do for themselves is connect. In particular, feel their body, be aware of their soul, and open up to the divine aspect in their brain. When they do this, they can be secure in themselves while empathizing with others. Even more, they can have the clarity and action power they need to face anything that comes their way.

connect book by Ilchi Lee

Many people ask me how to resolve a problem they have with someone.

“Try to focus first on yourself rather than worrying about your relationship with others,” I advise them. “And love yourself more. Your relationships with others will get better when you truly understand yourself.”

If you look closely and honestly, you’ll see that your relationships with others
reflect your relationship with yourself. You can love others only as much as you love yourself, and you can understand and tolerate others only to the extent that you understand and tolerate yourself.

And you’ll see that even when people talk about sharing unconditional love, often they expect something from the other person—affection from others to fill the emptiness inside themselves.

In fact, your level of attachment to others can be measured by the longing you feel: the needier you feel, the greater your attachment to the attentions of others.

If you are well connected with yourself, however, you can achieve balance in your relationships because you have a solid center—even if the other person hurts your feelings. More important than any relationship we have with someone else is the relationship we have with ourselves.

Do You Know the Flea Story?

By Ilchi Lee Comment

Glass ceiling

Many people live repetitive lives without change or growth, today always the same as yesterday. They no longer dream. And they no longer challenge themselves to do anything beyond their comfort zone. Lethargy, depression, anxiety, isolation, frustration, a sense of inferiority, and a negative attitude slowly eat away at their brains.

The real issue here is that they have failed to identify the cause of their problems accurately. Usually, instead of looking carefully within, they simply blame their situation and the people around them, negating their own power to find a solution. They neither try to see it clearly nor attempt to find the will to improve. At some point, they find themselves becoming spectators to their own lives. No one ever starts out stuck in a rut, but sometimes negative experiences turn into a pattern of learned helplessness.

When hopelessness and negativity become the norm, people are no different from the flea in the following story:

A flea was caught in a glass jar covered with a transparent lid. The flea jumped as hard and high as he could, but he hit the cover every time and was hurled to the bottom of the jar by the impact. Over time, the flea learned how to jump without getting hurt. He would jump only to a safe height, not touching the lid, before dropping again. Later, after the lid was removed, the flea continued to jump only to that same safe height. He kept jumping only as high as he could to keep from crashing into the lid, mistakenly believing that it was still there.

We may be like this flea. To keep from getting hurt, do you also keep jumping only to the same height as before, sticking to the same predictable routine?

Believe in Yourself

In various aspects of life, you may find yourself bound by fear. But if you look closely, you may see that it's your mind that is creating that fear and imposing limitations on what you think you can do.

Fear is a delusion, a virtual image of ourselves that we’ve created. Breaking out of that image, like a chick breaking out of its shell, is the beginning of self-transformation and innovation.

This transformation is not something someone else can do for you. Only you can find the courage to face it directly and shatter those images.

To draw out your power of self-innovation, enter your inner world, breaking the chain of your endless thoughts. Beneath the illusory curtain of fear and limitation, you'll encounter the essence of yourself, the light shining inside you.

That essence, your true self, isn’t the self you are familiar with. It's the self you've always dreamed of and hoped for deep inside. When you are connected with your true self, you have nothing to fear in this world.

Encounter that self.
Connect with that self.

P.S. I hope you enjoyed this message from my book Connect.
