Change has come to Los Angeles in a big way. This past weekend, the Regal Cinemas were host to the premiere of Ilchi Lee’s new documentary, CHANGE: The LifeParticle Effect. Located just a few miles from Hollywood, in the heart of L.A., the theater was filled to capacity with an audience of nearly 800 people. They had been eagerly awaiting the Los Angeles premiere for several months. “I missed the event in San Diego back in May, but when I saw that the movie would be showing in Los Angeles I knew I had to make the trip,” says Oceanside resident Alexandra Garza.
The revolutionary documentary that has been positively received by audiences nationwide over the past few months had finally made it to the film capitol of the world. But members of the audience haven’t been simply waiting around for Change, they have already been inspiring it in themselves and others. From community organizers to CEO’s, movie producers to scientists, and meditation practitioners to actors, there were many individuals already familiar with executive producer Ilchi Lee’s message of worldwide change through self-development. Some notable attendees included scientific thinker and author Howard Bloom, singer/songwriter Mary Stella Jane, and entrepreneur Joanne Kim.
There were also many who were unfamiliar with the change movement. Orange County resident Jill Block said, “I have never heard Ilchi Lee speak or read any of his books. But my friend attends the Body + Brain center in Irvine, and she invited me along. I’m interested to hear what he has to say.”
After the audience finished filling into the theater, the lights dimmed and the film began.
Following the film, executive producer Ilchi Lee spoke about what Change means to him, and what he wants to share with the world. “You only use a small part of your brain’s potential. Through my film, CHANGE, you can learn how to use your whole brain. I want to show you how energy is consciousness. If you can manage your energy, you can manage your consciousness. You have the tools, it is just a matter of how to utilize them. Energy is expressed in many different ways, but we can simplify things. Power is energy, strength is energy. Emotions are energy.” Lee went on to speak for an hour, then agreed to meet with audience members for a DVD and book signing opportunity. The line to meet Mr. Lee stretched wall to wall on the theater’s upper balcony and down the stairs into the main lobby. For 2 hours, audience members met with the executive producer and director, had photos taken and copies of CHANGE and LifeParticle Meditation: A Practical Guide for Healing and Transformation signed. The final stop on the film premiere tour will be in Honolulu, HI on August 9th. If you missed the event nearest to you, CHANGE can be ordered online.
