Today, I’d like to introduce a song to you called “Did I Not Love You?” by the Norwegian duo, Secret Garden.
This song was sent to me as a gift from someone in a family who regularly receives my newsletter. The song is really wonderful, so I’ve listened to it quite a bit. I’m even listening to it now as I write.
As I’ve been listening to this song, many people whom I love have come to mind. And I want to convey my heart to those people. So I’ve called them right away and held the receiver close to the speakers and said, “This is my heart. Please feel it.”
Without saying much to them, I could feel that love and gratitude were being communicated well.
When you encounter something good or beautiful, if you remember many people that you want to share it with, I think that would make you a happy person. And I also think being able to share it would feel like true success wouldn’t it?
Who do you think of when you listen to this music? If you could share those good feelings with them, I think many people could be happier today.
Would you like to listen to it? Here you go.
“Did I Not Love You?”
By Secret Garden (sung by Peter Corry)
Did I not love you
Before this lifetime?
Did you not hear
My music in your soul?
Did I not need you
Beyond forever?
And now I’ll leave you
Not forever more.
The widest ocean
I have crossed over
No boat did I row
But love to carry me.
I have been ever
in constant motion
I have been finding you
Eternally.
And I’ve been traveling
Throughout the ages
Down through the pages
Of history
Just for this moment
This timeless moment
This wondrous moment
Of you and me.
Did I not love you
Before this lifetime
Did you not hear
My music in your soul?
Did I not need you
Beyond forever?
And now I’ll leave you
Not forever more.
Did I not need you
Beyond forever?
And now I’ll leave you
Not forever more.
And I will leave you
Not forever more.
