Time is the key to success in life.
Time is a dynamic opportunity for creation, spreading out to infinity, without beginning and without end. There are four principles of time management you can use to make this opportunity your own.
One, begin with what’s important.
Prioritizing based on your core values and philosophy, consciously invest time in the important stuff. Otherwise, time will blow by like the wind.
Second, begin with what’s possible.
Don’t obsess over things you cannot do. It’s wiser to leave them to those who can do it, and start with what you can do.
Third, begin with yourself.
For work you’ve been given, you can start centered in yourself, establishing a plan for connecting that work with others. It then becomes easier to elicit their cooperation.
Fourth, do it now.
It’s important not to be off in your timing. When your timing is right, all you need is a little time and effort. When your timing is wrong, however, greater time and effort are consumed needlessly. Don’t miss your chance, even if it means getting help from others.
Sticking to these principles will make you a master of creation.
