In honor of the release of my new book, Finding Your True Self: 365 Daily Inspirations for Authentic Living, I would like to share one of its messages with you. This one comes from Day 99:
The foundation of using time wisely is managing the condition of your body and mind. When your energy is drained and your mind is cluttered, pushing forward without pause only leads to exhaustion and low efficiency, no matter how much time you spend.
To perform at your best, your body needs energy and vitality, and your mind needs clarity and focus. That’s why caring for your condition is not a luxury, but a necessity. When you’re in a good state, clear decisions come easily, fresh ideas flow, and you can accomplish in minutes what might otherwise take hours. In those moments, your work feels meaningful and deeply satisfying.
Those who master time never neglect self-care, even in their busiest seasons. Instead of rushing through tasks in a f lustered state, they move with calm and purpose, creating balance from within, and from that balance, true productivity and joy arise.
