Features are changing, and changeless is the maker
The essential truth of this line of the Chun Bu Kyung is that although the cosmic mind and energy that is the Source of life causes change, it itself does not change. Only the external and superficial changes while the essence remains the same.
Despite this truth, we are often resistant to change and hold onto people, places and things for security. But doing so limits our potential and prevents us from experiencing the essence behind these myriad things that are bound to change by their nature.
The energy of the Chun Bu Kyung— shape of its characters and the sound vibrations when they are spoken— communicates the essence, or the One (Il). By connecting to it, we can weaken our resistance to change and move from being tossed around by it to becoming an agent of change.
If you would like your choices and actions to come from your core, rather than your emotions and preconceptions, take some time to look inside yourself and see what you are holding onto. By holding onto anything, you are denying the truth of the oneness of the universe and of the divine nature inside of you and inside of everything. When you turn your back on it that way, you are disallowing its loving restorative and creative power to work for you and through you.
I think everything always comes back to the questions: “What is the purpose of my life? How do I want to live it?” Through the Chun Bu Kyung, you can embrace life, instead of strangling it with fear.

This is inspiring to me because I feel like so many times I had limited myself through fear. I feel like because I make a PDCA for a vision that I can watch myself clearer and see once my energy starts shrinking through fear. This gives faith to me that things will change through action and in that time and space I have the skills to create beauty. Thank you Ilchi Lee.
Thank you so much ~
Beautiful wisdom! Thank you! ~*~
Change is what brings me back to myself and this training time and time again. So that I can experience again that thing that does not change within me more and more. When I am in touch with that outside change isn’t as bothersome. Some times my worries become so silly it will make me laugh. When I am experiencing that moment other peoples opinions and judgments can’t move me. And when I am not in that moment nothing is right, everything is in terrifing chaos but because we are so used to it we take it as normal. In those moments I can feel true appreciation for my training for allowing me to peak into myself. So that when I lose myself again I know, I can find my way back to myself and that definetly it will be there. Susengnim Gamsahamnida.
That is a such an inspirational post! Thank you. We often hold on to our fears because they are our comfort zone. Thank you for reminding me that I need to make decisions from my core, not my emotions.
